Get to know Ambassador Leah Schwindt
Hi, I'm Leah Schwindt. I live in north-central Nebraska with my husband, Ryan, and a herd of horses, cattle and dogs; we also just welcomed our first baby. I have a passion for being outdoors and enjoy ranching, riding horses, and especially competing in barrel racing. I also have a small business where I specialize in western themed t-shirts.
How you would you describe your personality? II'd describe my personality as independent and strong combined with empathetic and kind.
What are three words someone else would use to describe you?
Kind, independent, and strong.
Are you a member of any clubs, groups, or associations?
Yes! National Barrel Horse Association, and American Quarter Horse Association.
What sports or activities you participate in? At what level?
Barrel Racing: jackpot and amateur rodeo level.
What are your favorite activities to do outside of the arena or work?
Outside of the arena and work I like to work on my small t-shirt business, go for walks with my dog (Penny), and read.
What is something you are proud of yourself for?
I'm proud of myself for being independent and not letting fear and self-conscious doubts stop me from setting big goals and trying new things.
What are three things you cannot live without? Why?
My dog, Penny-she is always there to keep me company
Horses-they keep me sane
Spotify subscription- I need to be listening to something while driving!
